Greenridge is a newer home neighborhood located in Round Rock. The Greenridge development began in 2002 and features homes from Lennar, KB, Rytex, and Pacesetter homes. There is a large community park at the heart of the development. It is a fairly active part of the Round Rock real estate market and there is usually a good selection of homes available from 2,000-4,000 square feet.
The builders in Greenridge have filled the development with some truly robust floor plans! Home buyers really get some bang for their buck here. The area is surrounded by similar neighborhoods (Sonoma South, Black Hawk, and Steeds Crossing) that offer similar homes at a considerably higher premium. Having such easy access to Texas 45 and Interstate 35 is ideal for those who what to work in Austin but enjoy being apart of the Round Rock community. There are also some great dining and entertainment options at the nearby La Fontera shopping center.
Greenridge is located just to the southeast of the Red Bud / Gattis School intersection in Round Rock. While Greenridge homes are classified as being in the “PF (Pflugerville)” area of the MLS map, the majority of homes here actually have Round Rock addresses. If you are traveling from Austin you would travel north on either Mopac or IH-35, then exit onto Texas 45 Toll east. Once heading east on 45, keep an eye out for the Heatherwilde exit then turn left at the light. The entrance to Greenridge is just about half a mile down the road on the right; you will see the Greenridge sign and turn right on Cheyenne Valley.
