About Woods at Crystal Falls
The Woods at Crystal Falls has several sections and each section is a different price range with a different look. Although the Woods at Crystal Falls is situated in the Crystal Falls Leander area, it is not part of the Crystal Falls communities. It does not share their amenity centers nor does it have an amenity center. However, if you want to be in the gorgeous Crystal Falls area without paying the higher price, the Woods at Crystal Falls would be a nice option.
Where is the Woods at Crystal Falls?
It is located off of Crystal Falls in Leander. Beginning at Bagdad Road, go west on Crystal Falls and turn right on Honey Bear or take Lakeline Blvd. to Crystal Falls and turn left on Honey Bear. These homes on Honey Bear were built by Wilshire Homes and are very nice. At the end of Honey Bear you can go either right or left and see some more Wilshire Homes. Adjacent to the Wilshire section on the west there were a couple of other builders there for awhile and going further west, you will see Main Street homes. The Wilshire section is the premier section in this neighborhood.
Why I like the Woods at Crystal Falls
I like the Wilshire Homes in this neighborhood. They are very nice and were considered to be upscale when they were built in the 1990s. The streets are rolling and the yards are wooded with beautiful, established lawns. I also like the location in the middle of The Boulders at Crystal Falls. The neighborhood is very convenient to lots of retail, big box stores such as Lowe’s, Kohl’s, and Walgreens about five minutes away. Lakeline Mall is about 15 minutes away, the 1890 Shopping Center is about 15 minutes away and, of course, the Railyard is about 10 minutes away. I like the unique shops there as well as the sport bars and restaurants.
Woods at Crystal Falls Schools
The Leander ISD serves the Woods at Crystal Falls. Whitestone Elementary school is about five minutes from the neighborhood. Winkley Middle School is just around the corner on Lakeline Blvd. My clients in the area tell me that Winkley is a very good school and it is rated highly. At the moment, the high school is Leander High just down the road on Bagdad. The Leander ISD is growing so rapidly and gaining new schools every year so it is always a good idea to check the Leander ISD to know for sure which school will serve your neighborhood.
