Lakeway Homes

Homes in Lakeway have easy access to Lake Travis and other water sport activities. Your price range determines the type of home you will find. Many of the homes have a view that seems to go on for miles. In Lakeway you will find grand homes with large lots and homes located high in the hills among the trees. The prices run anywhere from $199,000 to 2 million plus. New developments are planned and the area will continue to grow.

Where is Lakeway?

You can get to Lakeway on a very relaxing and enjoyable drive from Austin by Hwy 71 West. You access Hwy 71 West at the “Y” in Oak Hill and it is approximately 12 miles from the “Y” which is at the edge of Southwest Austin. The drive takes about 10 minutes or so, depending on traffic. You can also get to Lakeway from North Austin coming in on FM 620. What most people don’t realize is that you can get from North Austin to South Austin coming in from the Lake Travis area. The view is fantastic and you may see people pulled over on the side of the road taking pictures of the scenery. The Lakeway zip codes are 78734 and 78738.
