Traveling north from Austin through Cedar Park and Leander on Toll Road 183A, turn left (west) onto Hwy 29. Continue through Liberty Hill to CR 322, left on CR322 for approximately one mile to the gated entrance on your left.

Residents of Rio Ancho Ranch have a choice of grocery shopping at HEB in nearby Burnet (15 mins) or the Leander HEB Plus store(also about 15 mins). The 183A toll road extension is well on it’s way to completion through to the Hwy 29 intersection, making coming into Austin a breeze. If driving isn’t your thing, then hop on the CapMetro light rail at the Leander depot…no traffic, no gasoline, no headaches! Stay on Hwy 29 to Georgetown and shop Wolf Ranch with all the amenities of the city.

With a community center, fire pit, swimming pool, basketball court, playscape, fishing and swimming holes in the river and miles of hiking trails it’s hard to know why anyone would want to leave Rio Ancho Ranch. But should they, historic Burnet, Texas, gateway to the Texas Hill Country, with it’s charming square and step-back-in-time feel is just 15 minutes up the road. Drive another 15 minutes and Lake Buchanon beckons you in or hang a left in Burnet and Lake Marble Falls awaits! Gym rats can either join Flyhing H Gym in Liberty Hill or the Galloway-Hammond Recreation Center with indoor pool and track in nearby Burnet.
