Austin – The capital city of Texas, Austin is growing rapidly with many new high-rise condos downtown and new homes being built in the vast suburbs around the city.

Bastrop – Set in the lost pines, Bastrop is southeast of Austin by about 30 miles and its population is growing. Within commuting distance of Austin, many people choose to live here and enjoy nature while being convenient to jobs and shopping in Austin.

Bee Cave – Bee Cave is a small city about 12 miles west of Austin near Lake Travis.

♦ Bertram – Bertram is a tiny town about 45 miles northwest of Austin.

Briarcliff – West of Austin by about 30 miles, Briarcliff is located near the south shore of Lake Travis.

Buda – South of Austin by about 20 miles, Buda’s population is growing. People are attracted to the small town lifestyle in combination with the proximity to Austin.

♦ Cedar Park – Cedar Park is a huge suburb of Austin and is located about 15 miles northwest of the city.

♦ Coupland – Northeast of Austin, Coupland is a small town located in Williamson County.

Dripping Springs – West of Austin out Highway 290 about 25 miles, Dripping Springs is a beautiful little town that is adding to its population with Austin commuters, retirees and families.

Elgin – Elgin is a small town east of Austin by about 19 miles.

Georgetown – Travel north on I35 from downtown Austin and you will find Georgetown, Texas.

Hutto – Hutto is a small town located 21 miles northeast of Austin.

Jarrel – Jarrel is a small town about 40 miles north of Austin.

Jonestown – Jonestown is a small community just north of Lake Travis.

Kyle – Kyle is a town in Hays County of about 30,000 people and lies about 20 miles south of Austin.

♦ La Grange – Southeast of Austin about 65 miles out Hwy 71, La Grange is situated near the Colorado river.

♦ Lago Vista – Lago Vista is about 20 miles north of Austin and popular with those wanting to be near Lake Travis but also commuting distance to Austin.

Lakeway – Lakeway is an upscale golf community on Lake Travis, just west of Austin.

Leander – Leander is  a large suburb of Austin just a short drive north of the city.

Liberty Hill – Liberty Hill is a small town just 30 miles to the northwest of Austin.

Lockhart – Formerly called Plum Creek, Lockhart is southeast of Austin by about 25 miles.

♦ Manor – Manor sits just north of Austin and is home to the ShadowGlen golf course.

Pflugerville – Pflugerville is a town of around 50,000 residents and sits north of Austin and south of Round Rock.

Point Venture – Point Venture is a village situated on the north shore of Lake Travis.

Rollingwood – Rollingwood is a small community west of Austin in the Eanes ISD.

♦ Round Rock – Round Rock is a city north of Austin with a population of more than 100,000 people and also home to the Dell headquarters.

San Marcos – San Marcos is located on I35 south of Austin and north of San Antonio. It is home to Texas State University.

♦ Smithville – Smithville is a small historic town in Bastrop County.

♦ Spicewood – This small town is about 20 miles northwest of Austin and just a short drive to nearby Marble Falls.

Sunset Valley – Sunset Valley is a tiny town in Travis County.

Taylor – Taylor is 30 miles northeast of Austin.

West Lake Hills – West Lake Hills is a suburb on the west side of Austin with many luxury homes.

♦ Wimberley – A short drive from Austin, Wimberley is a small town with beautiful scenery that has made it a popular place to visit.
