“Buying a house is one of the most stressful life events but with a realtor like Brandy the process was much smoother than expected. As we were moving from a different state that added even more complexity. Brandy was willing to dedicate significant time for us to ensure we were happy with the process. Not only did she take us on a tour of several homes, she kept her eye on properties that would fit our very specific needs. She acted as a go-between for all parties including our lender and the builder, greatly reducing our stress. We had heard of realtors who cared more about their commission than finding the right home but this was not our experience thanks to Brandy. She never pushed us to purchase the more expensive houses but genuinely cared more about us. Every time we had questions, she was right there, always going a step further. The best part about Brandy is she not only found us a house – she found us a home.”

– Adam and Renee B.

“Good morning, Brandy, we just wanted to let you know that we are doing well in our new home, well new to us, the boys are settling in into their new environment and school. Thank you so much for your patience, for helping us out, and making this transition as smooth as possible. At one point we were lost and afraid, but you made it possible. I know German was picky but he knew what he wanted for us and between you and him you all found the perfect home for the rest of the family. Thank you for all your help and everything you did for us!

– German and Flor S.

“Hi Brandy! We are officially in our new home. I have fallen in love all over again and see us living here for many years and making so many memories. I also want to thank you for all you did to help me find the perfect home. You kept me well informed throughout the process. There were many days I wanted to give up but you stayed calm, positive and focused the entire time which helped me to be patient and hopeful and very excited to see the outcome. The outcome was well worth the wait. I will definitely refer all my friends and family members to you. You are awesome and Ryan and I are forever grateful. Thank you!”

– Caula M.

We’re doing great and we love the house. A lot of my friends are going through the process of buying a house and I sing your praises to each and every one of them. Your assistance and expertise during the whole thing was astounding and its positive effect on our sanity level during such a stressful time can’t be overstated 🙂

– Galen & Carrie R.

Ryan and I will always refer to you; I seriously don’t think we would’ve made it through the house-buying process if we had worked with someone else. You are so good at what you do, it was easier than we thought because you made us feel comfortable. Thank you Brandy for just being an overall great person! 🙂

– Ryan O. and Christine S.

Thank you so much for everything! You have been great! I’ve been telling anyone I can about you when I hear someone say they are looking. Thanks again!

Buying your first home is scary, overwhelming and time consuming. I felt very ignorant about the process, as there was so much that I really didn’t know about homeownership. Brandy put my mind at ease and held my hand through the process. Because this is the biggest purchase you will ever make, you have so many doubts and worries. Brandy was there to listen to my concerns and be an advocate for me. She was extremely knowledgeable about the market, and she always steered me in the right direction.

While I was at work, she was able to secure showings, put in offers, and meet with inspectors and contractors to ensure that I as getting a fair price for my new home. She truly went above and beyond for me, and she got me a great deal!! Once I let go of my worries and let Brandy take care of me, it was smooth sailing. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. This is an emotional process, and it felt great knowing that I had a true professional and a true friend taking care of me. Thanks, Brandy.

First Note to Broker –

Mr. Reddehase,

I wanted to reach out to you about Brandy. We have utilized her two times, the first time in 2013 and we just closed on a new house on this past Wednesday.

In 2013 we moved from Michigan to Texas. As we had a tight deadline, we came down for a week in October. My husband and I have vastly different tastes. She was extremely kind and gave us a significant amount of time. Brandy was able to find out what was most important to us and help guide us through the process since it was our first house. She worked very hard to get us the best deal and we were thrilled when she found us the perfect house (it had not even come up during our search). During the process she was our advocate as well as being willing to hold our hand during such a stressful time. She also recommended Josh from Supreme Lending to us. Josh is amazing as well. I was so nervous going into the process because my friends and family told me that some realtors were not very good and cared only about themselves. I have been happy to tell everyone I know (and meet) that Brandy is the best realtor ever.

A little over a year after purchasing our house, we had a family emergency. My parents became very ill and had to move from Michigan down to live with us (including their dog). It became overwhelming, as the house simply was not large enough for all of us. This time I felt so horrible about what we put Brandy through. We went back and forth so many times. We went to Brandy because we have complete trust in her. For my husband to be so complimentary is much different than he normally is which shows how terrific she is at her job. The dedication she shows is more than I have ever seen. She never became impatient with us, handled many of the details and stood by our side. That was really important because the stress I have been under while caring for my parents often became overwhelming. To know I had someone who would catch all of those details brought me comfort. You can tell she really cares about her clients, even the difficult ones like we were this time.

I am very grateful for Brandy. If there is a realtor of the year award, I sincerely believe she deserves it. I will continue to recommend her to everyone. To have a realtor who truly understands what we need, that is priceless, and to have one that actually looks at us as individuals and not just a sale, that cannot be underemphasized. I hope she is able to get all of the praise and recognition possible.
Thank you very much,

– Adam & Renee B
(two extremely satisfied clients)

Second Note to Broker –

Mr. Reddehase,

I had previously sent you an e-mail regarding how wonderful Brandy is as a realtor. I wanted to add more since we just finished up on the selling side.

I had told you how much she meant to us as she helped us find a home and how very patient she was with us. I really didn’t know what to expect when it came to selling our first house but I am very thankful we had Brandy on our side. She is one of the rare people who come into our lives and will always have a permanent place as a friend–because that’s how we think of her now.

Since my father’s condition has declined, I was not too steady during the process. I felt like it took forever to get everything ready because I was so unprepared. Brandy really helped me and I am so grateful I had someone I could put my trust in. I knew that if she had a recommendation for a painter–or anyone really–I could trust the job would be done well. She went above and beyond by helping with coordination, something I desperately needed while my dad was in the hospital.

I’m not sure which side of the process is easier, buying or selling (except for paperwork, selling is easier). Selling our home came with ups and downs, logistically and emotionally. Brandy stood by us the entire time and she has our complete gratitude.

We were surprised at the listing price originally–it was higher than we expected to go onto market with but we had two offers within a few days; one at full value. Even during the inspection process she advocated for us after the report so that we only had to give up $200 (and the refrigerator conveyed which was excellent for us). Adam and I both talked about that on the way down to closing today with a sense of awe. That is how talented she is and how dedicated she is to her clients.

As I’ve mentioned before (probably too many times) I believe Brandy is one of the best realtors around. We plan on always using Brandy, though hopefully not too soon, because of her dedication, kindness and ability to advocate.

Thank you,

– Adam and Renee B.

Having participated in the buying and selling of 3 homes during my lifetime, not always with satisfactory results, I know the difference a good realtor can make. Of all the realtors I’ve worked with, Brandy Guthrie is the only one that I would recommend or choose again. In my recent home sale, I found Brandy to be honest, professional, and available when needed. I was uncertain as to whether or not I should make certain improvements to prepare my home for sale. Brandy advised me on the pros and cons without pressuring me one way or the other, which helped me make the decision. Once I decided to move forward with a few upgrades, Brandy helped to coordinate the contractors and get the work done quickly and painlessly. Once on the market, my house went under contract and sold in less than 1 week for well over the asking price! I couldn’t be happier with my results, and highly recommend Brandy Guthrie to anyone needing a good realtor in Austin.

“Very professional agent. I would recommend Brandy to everyone who wants to buy, sell, or lease their house. She’s very knowledgeable, honest, helpful and full of energy.”
