On a personal note I enjoy organic gardening, xeriscaping, native plants, walking in beautiful parks, ranches and greenbelt spaces; riding horses; time with my children & grandchildren; reading; bargain shopping; going to Whole Foods, Central Market and Farmer’s Markets, drinking Kombucha; traveling; enjoying life in Texas and the beautiful Hill Country.
I am interested and involved in water conservation and water use planning; I am Commissioner Place 6 on the Leander Planning and Zoning Commission. We have so many people moving to Texas and Austin, I believe we need to plan for the growth so it is done well and not haphazardly.
I have been working with Betty since the spring of 2011 when I was still living in WA state planning to move to TX. Betty is knowledgeable, dedicated, hard working and she is committed to serving all her clients. She went above and beyond what a realtor normally would to help me in the purchase of my current home. I contacted Betty Saenz when I first started to look at homes to buy. She was a complete pleasure to work with. My needs in a home were not that easy. I had a very tight restriction on what I could afford and needed to stay inside certain school districts for my kids. I was kind of picky and could only view properties after work hours. Betty was VERY accommodating, always had a smile and a reassuring way about her even when I had to “show” my wife a few times from Florida. We visited what seemed like dozens of homes and when I found one that “fit the bill” she showed the home several times so that I could walk my wife and Daughter through the home. I can say this about Betty. If I ever want to buy another home or property, she is the only one I will contact. With her I know, she is honest, Forthcoming and I trust her implicitly in any dealings that may come our way. She was there from the very start until and beyond move in day. Betty is a real go getter, so don’t be fooled by her sweet disposition. She drives long distances, attends extra meetings, sits in traffic, has the patience of a saint, solves problems at a click of a mouse, or phone, climbs rickety stairs to take photos of attics, like a professional photo journalist, and can be your eyes and ears, if your buying a home over the internet. She can ferret out any Historical Home, and she knows things, other realtors don’t. If you want top quality in a realtor, she’s worth every cent. Will definitely use her services again.
