Crestview was once considered North Austin but with the growth of the outlying areas Crestview is now considered centrally located. This Austin subdivision is bordered by Burnet Road, Anderson Lane, North Lamar and Koenig Lane.
The homes in Crestview were built starting after World War II. Most of them were built in the 1950s. Now many of them are being updated and fit very well with today’s trendy urban-style look. This is a neighborhood transitioning to younger families.
Crestview has a little shopping area with a small grocery store that once was part of a chain. There are other small businesses there as well. Surrounding this neighborhood are retail and services to meet most needs. Grocery stores, pharmacies and the Northcross Mall area are all close by.
