Ancient Oaks is a small acreage neighborhood in rural Liberty Hill, Texas north of the North Fork of the San Gabriel River. This Williamson County, Texas neighborhood is deed-restricted and has some of the lowest taxes northwest of Austin. There is a POA or Property Owner’s Association. Though this acreage neighborhood does not allow livestock, having a large lot allows for privacy, a large garden or creative landscape. Chisolm Trail water and PEC electric serve Ancient Oaks for utilities.

Located north of Liberty Hill off of Highway 183, the Leander Train Station is only 15 to 20 minutes from Ancient Oaks, so it is convenient to take public transportation into Austin, Texas. Capital Metro’s Leander Station has a large Park and Ride lot to park your vehicle and ride the train or bus into Austin. Both the trains and buses have free Wi Fi so you can enjoy computing as you relax on the way into Austin. Liberty Hill ISD serves the children of Ancient Oaks. There are also many private schools choices in the area.

Liberty Hill, Georgetown, Leander and Cedar Park offer numerous dining, shopping and recreational opportunities. Smoky Mo’s in Liberty Hill and Leander offer great Bar-B-Q. Jardin Corona and the HiWay Cafe offer great Mexican food. Nearby Georgetown, TX has numerous fine dining experiences such as Wildfire, La Maison and Tony and Luigi’s. Georgetown and Cedar Park, TX each have nice movie theaters. Georgetown and Leander have their own live theater productions. Leander and Georgetown offer many opportunities for golf and hiking.
