Residents of Cortina Creek can hike and bike along trails that run alongside three small ponds. The ponds are formed behind earthen dams on Brushy Creek and run nearly the length of the 273-acre community. A community park is next to Jim Plain Elementary. Outside Cortina Creek to the immediate northwest is Benbrook Regional Park, complete with ball fields and a skate park. Across Bagdad Road from Benbrook Park is Devine Lake and Park. Golfing and boating are not far away either. You can be playing golf within 10 minutes of leaving Cortina Creek and boating within 25.
Cortina Creek Schools
Students within Cortina Creek attend schools of the Leander Independent School District. Jim Plain Elementary is on-site.
