About Apple Springs
Apple Springs Shopping and Services
Just a few moments away is the Leander Station and TOD or Transit Oriented Development with commuter rail and bus service into Austin as well as a huge Park and Ride to park your vehicle or bike while you are away. Trains and buses have WI FI so you can work on your laptop while en route to your destination. Soon the Leander TOD will have grand plans fulfilled for shops, services and eateries. The Leander TOD will look similar to the Domain, a pedestrian centered shopping and recreational experience filled with beautiful buildings, trees and sidewalk tables.
Currently, there is a recently built HEB Plus grocery store as well as other shops and services across from the Leander Station. One friend in Apple Springs had the HEB Bakery bake custom bread for her. I can’t guarantee that can always happen but it is a very nice store and includes a large bakery, garden center, electronics section and more. The 1890 Ranch and Lakeline Mall shopping centers are minutes away as well.
Apple Springs Medical Care
For medical care there are numerous hospitals and clinics nearby. The Cedar Park Regional Medical Center is just off New Hope and 183A. There is a VA clinic, Scott and White clinic and more in Cedar Park. Leander will get a new clinic soon as well with 6 doctors. There are several doctors, optometrists, chiropractic and physical therapy clinics in Leander now.
Apple Springs Schools
Children in Apple Springs attend the Leander ISD or other private schools of their choice. Austin Community College has a campus in neighboring Cedar Park and has bought land in Leander to put in a campus in the future. Southwestern University is in neighboring Georgetown, Texas and Round Rock Higher Education has a college campus in Round Rock on University Boulevard. The University of Texas and other colleges are in nearby Austin.
