About Steeplechase

Steeplechase is a community in Kyle, Texas between Austin and San Marcos. Homes in Steeplechase are one- and two-story floorplans. The community has street lighting, curbs and cluster mail boxes. Building started in 1992, making Steeplechase a well established neighborhood with mature trees.

Steeplechase Park

Steeplechase Park is owned and maintained by the City of Kyle Parks and Recreation Department. The park stretches across 31 acres with Plum Creek running through it. Steeplechase Park is open to the public and features a playscape, covered pavilion, hike & bike trails, baseball and football fields, a sand volleyball court and an 18-hole disc golf course. Steeplechase Park backs to the Steeplechase subdivision, giving residences easy access to the park.

Being located between Austin and San Marcos, residents of Steeplechase have many things to do just minutes away. San Marcos is the home of Texas State University, San Marcos river and the Tanger and Premium Outlet Mall. Austin is the Live Music Capitol of the World with hundreds of music venues, museums, restaurants, the Texas State Capitol and much more. Located about an hour away is San Antonio, home of Fiesta Texas, the River Walk, and Schlitterbahn,  just to name a few.
