Kyle, Texas is one of those sleepy little Texas towns that had a growth explosion. It went from a small town about 20 minutes from Austin, with a water tower and great BBQ but not much else to those who didn’t live there.

Kyle’s Location and Schools

Kyle is located a few miles south of Austin on I-35 just past the city of Buda. So close, that the boundaries between Buda and Kyle often seem to overlap. The historic main street of Kyle is on the west side of I-35 at exit 213. Kyle residents and students can contact the Hays Consolidated ISD for school information and boundaries for the schools located in the area. Hays Consolidated ISD has become a highly recognized school district. Located along the Austin, San Antonio corridor, Kyle is in an excellent location when looking for a local college or university.
