Jarrell

About Jarrell TX

Jarrell originally came about in 1909 when real estate developer O.D. Jarrell developed the land out where an old stagecoach road and the Bartlett and Western Railway met.  In Texas we have small towns like Georgetown and even smaller towns like Jarrell, better known as “one horse towns.”  This small town is part of Williamson County and is located 12 miles north of Georgetown (38 miles north of Austin) on IH35. Florence is located to the west of Jarrell, Bartlett is to the east and Salado is further north up IH35.
