About Del Valle TX

Del Valle is a community to the southeast of Austin that encompasses a wide rural area. Until the last few years Del Valle was primarily a farming community and a community that had ties to the Bergstrom Air Force Base. Del Valle was largely undeveloped until the closure of Bergstrom AFB and the opening of the Austin-Bergstrom Intl Airport.

Del Valle

At this point, three schools had to be moved. They were located in areas with room for growth. And grow they did. Within a short time there were large new home developments being built around the schools. Add to this mixture the addition of SH 130 toll way and you have a community that is primed and ready for growth. The community of Del Valle offers homes in neighborhoods with pools and greenbelts or if you want a few acres of your own, they are still available in the area also. A neighborhood atmosphere with the convenience of a vibrant and entertaining city such as Austin is making Del Valle appealing to many buyers.
