About Dripping Springs TX
Dripping Springs is a small town located about 25 miles southwest of downtown Austin off of Hwy.290. In this hill country town, you will find mostly ranch properties or homes that sit on larger lots. This historic swimming hole has a 50 foot waterfall and the pool water level is fairly constant. For the avid swimmer, you can go to the Founders Memorial Park pool (closed during winter). This park has a junior Olympic-sized pool in addition to jogging trails, soccer fields, playscape, and picnic area. To celebrate the discovery of the Dripping Springs community, an annual Founders Day Festival is held each Spring. This is an event you will not want to miss!!
