About Stillhouse Canyon Condos
Stillhouse Canyon is one of Austin’s rare finds. It is a gated condominium community located in Northwest Hills at 4711 Spicewood Springs. This condominium complex was built in the Balcones Canyonlands Preserve. The developer left the wilderness that surrounds these units and built them so that they blend into the landscape. They are made of fieldstone and cedar and have tile roofs. One feels like they are no where near civilization when looking at the view outside the windows. It’s an everyday occurrence to see deer meandering by.
Where is Stillhouse Canyon located?
This complex is located on Spicewood Springs Road in Northwest Hills. From MoPac Boulevard, head west, go past Mesa Drive and look for the gates on the south side of the road.
Stillhouse Canyon Amenities
Besides the Balcones Canyonland Preserve with its hike and bike trails, there is an abundance of wildlife in your backyard. Deer, foxes, and great horned owls are common. Red-tailed hawks and a plethora of other beautiful birds also hang out in the canyon. The complex has a large clubhouse for use by the residents that has an adjoining swimming pool. The Northwest Hills area has two grocery stores and several smaller shops. It’s just a short drive to the Arboretum area for more shopping. The Domain shopping center is Austin’s newest shopping center. It is located on Braker Lane.
