About Spaces 2525

Spaces 2525 have great style and lovely windows! While Spaces 2525 has a S. Lamar address, it’s just a bit off the street behind Maria’s Tacos (can you say gospel brunch?) and the Walgreen’s at the corner of S. Lamar & Bluebonnet. The 51 units, 15 of them live / work type commercial spaces, were completed in 2007.

Spaces 2525 Building Design

Designed by local architect Michael Antenora, the buildings are three stories high. The first are the live-work units, many of which are being used for light office or retail. The two additional floors are accessible by elevators or stairs. Entrances are from open-air “hallways” that many people probably use as outdoor space as well. Some of the units also have balconies.

Spaces 2525 Condos

There’s a nice, clean feeling to these Austin condos. They have 11’ high ceilings and concrete floors. Different than some of the other developments with loft-height ceilings, there is no exposed ductwork, which some people prefer. There are commercial grade windows and doors. You’ll also find granite counters and travertine tile.
