About Bouldin Creek Cottages
Bouldin Creek Cottages feels like a secret. Tucked away in a back corner of Bouldin at 1011 Brodie Street, people don’t happen across it much. It’s a gated community of 33 condo homes that was completed in 2001. Yes, condo homes. These condos are freestanding and they’re at a value-based price/SF for the area.
Bouldin Creek Cottages – The Community
Enter Bouldin Creek Cottages and you enter a square loop. Condo homes line both sides of the loop. While it’s a development, there are different styles to the homes. They’re nicely designed – especially knowing they come at a lower price point than most of the older homes in the neighborhood which, let’s face it, while potentially gorgeous, probably aren’t as “tight an envelope” from a green perspective!
Bouldin Creek Cottages – The Homes
All homes are free-standing. All have two-car garages. All have fenced in back yards AND they’re essentially homes! With a minimum two-bedroom/two-bath floor plan over 1100 square feet, these are worth looking at.
Bouldin Creek Cottages – Location
Bouldin Creek Cottages feels a bit removed from the rest of Bouldin but it’s not really. Green Pastures restaurant (and their peacocks) is two blocks from here. The new Twin Oaks library? Just about three blocks. Auditorium Shores and the Performing Arts District? Just head north on S. 5th and you’re there. Everything Zilker, Bouldin and SoCo? Well, you’re pretty near in the middle of it all.
