Technically a part of the west end of the Barton Hills neighborhood, Barton Bluff-Spyglass is unique enough to to claim its own identity. Named after the only two streets that run through the area, Bartons Bluff-Spyglass offers the largest concentration of townhomes, condos and apartments in Austin. Easy access to Mopac, Downtown Austin and the shopping areas of Westlake Hills make this a desirable location. What really makes Bartons Bluff-Spyglass popular is the close proximity to the Barton Creek Greenbelt and Zilker Park.
Where is Bartons Bluff-Spyglass?
Bartons Bluff-Spyglass is just West of Barton Hills and surrounded by the Barton Creek Greenbelt on its east side and Zilker Park to it’s north. Residents enjoy easy access to MoPac, which runs along the west side of the area and 360 which runs along the southern border. Downtown is also easily accessible by MoPac. The Greenbelt acts as a barrier to traffic so although Bartons Bluff – Spyglass appears to be in the South Austin area, it really more identifies with West Austin.
