About Beverly Hills

One of the subdivisions in Highland Park West Balcones neighborhood, Beverly Hills is known for its modern architectural designs by some of Austin’s best architects.  Originally developed in the 1950s, you’ll also find classic ranch style homes.  Many of them have been remodeled and the only indication of their 50s roots is their exterior appearance.  You can expect to find homes between 2,700 and 5,000 sq ft on 1/3 acre lots.

Where is Beverly Hills?

Beverly Hills is located west of MoPac immediately adjacent to the Bright Leaf Preserve in Central Austin.  Only 6 miles from Downtown Austin, Beverly Hills is perfect for residents looking for a getaway that’s close in.  You can access the neighborhood from Highland Crest Drive off 2222.  Less than 1 mile from MoPac and less than a half mile from 2222, Beverly Hills residents have easy access to any area of Austin.

Things to Do Near Beverly Hills

Perry Park is a fun place to take kids.  With two playgrounds, a basketball court, soccer field, tennis court, picnic area and hiking trail, there is something for kids of all ages.  For some great views of the Austin hill country, Downtown and Lake Austin, visit Mt. Bonnell Park and climb the 70 stairs to Austin’s highest point.  Finally, head to Amy’s Ice Cream on Burnet Rd for some of Austin’s best, locally made ice cream.
