About Oakmont Forest
The Cedar Park neighborhood of Oakmont Forest was established in 1995. You will find a variety of traditional style homes offering soaring ceilings and functional floor-plans. The streets are lined with trees providing much needed shade during the summer months. There is a community park with a basketball court and playground for the kids. You can also hike or bike on the trails along the greenbelt. Oakmont Forest is located in the Leander School District. Concordia University and Austin Community College are also close by for higher education learning.
Oakmont Forest Living
Located in close proximity to Lake Travis, if you do not have a boat – there are plenty of places to rent one for the day. If you feel like getting away one weekend day, hop a ride on the Hill Country Flyer in Cedar Park which will take you to Burnet, Texas to enjoy a real life western shoot out and plenty of antiquing.
You will be within a 5 mile radius of great dining experiences. From barbecue to sushi, this corridor has got it all. Grocery stores are also within this radius, so you won’t have to go far to fill the fridge.
